Low- Cost Air Purifier Innovation Workshop
Under Climate Innovation Week, Climate Cadets Collective is organizing a large scale, participatory workshop focused on the design, assembly, and use of low cost air purifiers.
The workshop will bring together students, youth leaders, educators, and community members to co create practical solutions to air pollution. The technical model for the air purifier is developed by FiltAir, an initiative working at the intersection of public health, education, and environmental justice. The purifier uses a dual filtration system, consisting of:
- A pre filter to capture dust and larger particles, extending filter life.
- A HEPA filter to trap fine particulate matter such as PM2.5.
- An integrated exhaust fan to draw polluted air through the system efficiently.
Participants will be guided step by step to assemble the purifier, understand its working principles, and learn how to maintain and replicate it independently.

We focus on spreading awareness about environmental issues, promoting sustainable living practices, and inspiring individuals to make a positive impact on the planet. Guided by three core pillars, we pursue research in the field of climate change to develop evidence-based solutions, advance climate advocacy and diplomacy to influence policy and foster global collaboration, and design civic engagement programs that equip communities with the skills and motivation to act. Through engaging content, active participation, and strategic initiatives, we strive to drive meaningful, lasting change for a just and sustainable future.
